im not doing calculations outright so i will ask this, if gogok bonus isnt up, is serenity not perma anymore?

I've tried this build with my perma serenity setup on GR39. I don't have some good pieces of gear. for example my sunwuko amulet really is bad.
The situation I found is that i can easily clear groups of enemies. I don't go and kill elites, i simply prefer that they follow me in a group of white enemies and I make them explode all togheter. Real problem comes with rift guardian, i've arrived to him with surely more than 8 minutes but i failed the rift.

So on single target it seems very slow on deal dmg.

Of course i have that bad amulet (no cc and no cd) and a no socket/cc rorg but even at T6 i have problem with single target dmg.
Of course with large groups of enemies I'm faster than any other my build and I'll try reach a Higher single dmg dps

Maybe for single target dmg a won kim law like yours is better than az turrasq.

looks very interesting this build...wanna try this badly in a 4-man group instead of the standard zdps, so that i can contribute some dps there... other members are DH, tikiWD, Wiz. what do you think of using a CDR+socket wyrdward instead of Soj for that?

What Is the must have cdr outside the obvious 100%?

I got lvl 1 million maratorium gem from greeds lair which gives 44% cdr alone

there's no gem that give CDR except gogok of swiftness..

Cooldown Reduction max level is around 81.40

It must be some console bs. They don't have seasons, so they got all of the new gems with the patch and probably some other items as well. Gotta love how Blizzard spoon feeds these guys.

i havent seen nor heard anyone else having maratorium lvl 1 million. Sure it has awesome cd reduction and dmg aint as spikey but what is annoying in that gem is that when wearing it the dmg spreads for a very long time and keeps ticking unless you get to blow it off somehow or just kill yourself.

You cant interact with vendors or orsha when taking dmg...

Great build, in GR45+ I can clear the rift in 7-8min but I'm am unable to kill the guardian. It takes forever. I don't you how you manage the boss? Even if it spawns adds, build doing no damage

I been using this build since I saw it posted on youtube. I, like others, am missing the dmg on the rift boss. I like using it in 2+player greater rifts and I feel like I'm contributing a little. I've changed the build a bit for grouping. I get better control using Cyclone Strike: Implosion in the place of Sweeping Wind so my buddies can burn the mobs down.

Im having trouble getting permanent serenity.

Sitting at 78.22 CDR without gogok. When gogok is at 15 stacks im having trouble refreshing serenity before it runs out. Eventough i can see that the cooldown overlaps the duration.



What am i missing? I've tried both timing it and smashing buttons. Is this LAG?, hardware issue. Other animations preveting the skill from going off?

I've tried your suggestion and looked at your build. Maybe I'm missing something, but I believe it's alternating IS Forbidden Palace and Serenity that make you invincible. Granted that I did test this away from home on a sub-optimal internet connection, but It seems that you are not invulnerable during SSS. Popping EP's on large packs of mobs with SSS was pretty fun, but without baking IS into the mix you still take damage. I'm also running with max CDR on everything per the Quinn build and have my 15 stacks of Gogok. My only weakness is a 98% Leoric's (not 100%). Not sure that would even matter if you built this according to Quinn's guide.

Something is wrong here. The servers just shut down in the middle of my RG fight on 40, so I'll have to test this again later. However the only way I can fathom this working is replacing Dashing Strike with IS to cover you during the brief period of Serenity downtime.

Update: im sitting at max CDR With good overlap of CD and skill duration but cannot refresh serenity fast enough.

I can visually see that it sometimes pauses like half a sec before refreshing when using the "Numlock trick"

Besides that my gameplay seems fine - no latency that i cant detect. The problem seems to increase when there are more mobs on the screen.



Anyone else experience this and maybe found a sollution?

I tried dumping the Graphics setting and using another network. So that last thing to do is probably try another computer?

all i can say is dam this was an easy build to do much thanks , but the stat's on the gear is missing could you update if possible

There's definitely something going on. Could be some kind of hotfix to limit this....i'm not sure. I'm going to try running with Desert Shroud since I've got a Fist of Az with a good amount spirit regen already on it. Epiphany doesn't seem to be impacted like Serenity.

edit - tried a few variations and am a little disappointed in this build now. It's great for farming, but you end up giving up too much trying to bridge the gap in Serenity. Is it literally that I have a 98% leoric's and not 100%? That's the only thing keeping me from max cdr.

Also, I don't feel that Seize the Initiative is really needed. It's not making any noticeable difference having it there (and you almost need Reaper's because of it). Actually I'm doing better running Momentum.

Watching the original video again i see hat quin69 often takes a small amount of damage as the serenity refreshes. (at grift 50) ITs the same thing that happens to me around 38+ but instead it kills me before serenity refreshes.

It might be that im just to low on thougness (6 mill) or life(450k) to survive those small hits. I will try running with harmony to see if thats the problem.

My crown of leorics is only 93 % so i missing 0,22 from maxed CDR. So my serenity refresh overlap is sligthly less than quin 69. But with gogok up this should be an even smaller margin.

I will try some more and post my progress.

Update: for me this build just doesnt work. i tried running with the same stats as the video, 12 mill thougness and about 450 life. resists at 1200 + and 18 mill armor.Getting killed between serenity refreshes.(With numlock trick or without). There is a visible pause after the skill comes of CD before it can be cast again. Is noone else experiencing this? Might be hardware/lateny - but i doubt it. Only thing missing is my leorics Crown at 93 %. Guess its back to torch and palm!

I clearly am having the same problem and it's definitely not latency related. Quinn says in his video that you don't need any toughness and you can see a few people have used this on the leader boards. I don't think Blizzard is a big fan so this "hitch" in CDR could be their doing once this popped up on youtube....
